Index Threads (IT) was created in my Experience Design Principles class, during my Dialogue of Civilization program in Kyoto. The IT system is a response to a pattern of tourist overconsumption in the Japanese clothing industry. The system increases transparency and education for consumers at their point of purchase, aiming to change behaviors such as impulse buying.
